Essen, XNUMX - The Rhenocoll-Werk e. K. is one of the innovation leaders of German SMEs this year. The company from Konken was awarded by Ranga Yogeshwar, Prof. dr. Nikolaus Franke and compamedia with the XNUMX. Once awarded TOP XNUMX seal honored. In the independent selection process, the company particularly impressed with its innovation processes and its Innovationserfolg.
Thanks to a large number of innovative developments for coating wood, plastic and glass, Rhenocoll-Werk e. K. has become the world market leader in some areas. The 1948-founded TOP 100 company offers bespoke products adapted to the climatic conditions around the world. The family-owned company from Konken has also been committed to environmental compatibility and health safety for 15 years in the production of its adhesives and paints. "Our credo is: protecting the environment for future generations," explains managing director Werner Zimmermann.
Among the products of the top innovator is a patented process of mineral based active ingredients called "Geneseptoy GY 88". This prevents bacterial, fungal and mold infestation in paints and varnishes. The addition of natural minerals makes the conventional use of chemical auxiliaries such as metal ions or nerve toxins superfluous and burdens neither the indoor climate nor nature. And when Rhenocoll set up a laboratory and production facility in 2002, it built it as a passive house. Thanks to modern technologies, production is low in energy, odorless and completely free of water, air and soil.
The Rhineland-Palatinate company is extremely successful with its strategy: in the past three years alone, the long-established company has registered six national and international patents.
